Recent leaks have stirred excitement among gamers, suggesting that the beloved 1998 PlayStation 1 title, MediEvil, is poised to join the Premium tier of the PlayStation Plus subscription service in the near future. Renowned for offering subscribers top-notch value, PS Plus Premium encompasses all the benefits of PS Plus Essential and PS Plus Extra, along with exclusive Premium features.

A standout feature of PS Plus Premium is its extensive library of retro games spanning the PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP eras. Over the past few years, numerous esteemed PS1 titles have found their way into the PS Plus Premium lineup, with indications pointing to more additions on the horizon. The recent leak has spotlighted MediEvil as a potential inclusion, with the game's complete trophy list surfacing online.

Notably, TrueTrophies made the discovery, highlighting the identical trophy lists between the original MediEvil and its PS4 remake from 2019. Additionally, they noted that the PS4 remake and a reimagined PSP version are already available to PS Plus Premium subscribers. Despite this, there exists a palpable nostalgia for the PS1 rendition of MediEvil among enthusiasts, who eagerly anticipate its official addition to the PS Plus Premium lineup.

While MediEvil: Resurrection, a PSP reimagining, is already part of PS Plus Premium, it garnered mixed reviews upon its initial release. With the PS1 version receiving greater acclaim, anticipation mounts for its introduction to PS Plus Premium, whenever that may occur.

The exact timing of the PS1 MediEvil's debut on PS Plus Premium remains uncertain. However, speculation suggests it may be included in the upcoming PS Plus Premium update, slated for Tuesday, April 16. Alternatively, fans may need to exercise patience for its eventual inclusion in the service's offerings.
